For the apple slices, peel the apples, remove the core and cut into slices. Sprinkle the slices with rum and let them sit for about 15 minutes.

Mix the flour with the sugar and salt in a baking bowl. Add the beer and the eggs and mix until a smooth dough is formed.

The dough should not become too liquid. Now stir in the melted butter and turn the apple slices in the batter to the other side and deep fry.

Mix the cinnamon and powdered sugar and sprinkle over the apple slices.
