For the warm cabbage salad, cut or slice the cabbage into fine noodles. Salt well, season with caraway seeds and let stand.
Cut the bacon into small cubes and fry in a hot pan until crisp. Pour vinegar water over it and season with salt and pepper.
Mix the resulting hot marinade with the cabbage, let it stand for a while and add the roasted bacon.
Serve the finished cabbage salad warm.
