Cut the bacon into cubes and fry in oil. Add flour and brown until dark yellow. Cut the onion into cubes and fry. Deglaze with clear soup, then add bay leaf spice and a little bit of lovage. Boil the sauce and season with salt. Before serving, sprinkle with chopped shallots. Serve with boiled, peeled potatoes and sliced home-made sausage.
