Soak the green peas (1) in the water for one night. The following day, boil with the soaking water, pre-cook for about 45 min, add bacon (in pieces) and do another 45 min. Clean and rinse greens, peel and finely chop onions, peel and chop carrots and potatoes. After about 1 hour of cooking, add the prepared vegetables to the soup with the bay leaf spice and marjoram. About 15 minutes before the end of the cooking time, take out the bacon, cut it into pieces and add it to the soup with the boiled sausages. Remove the bay leaf spice.

Season with salt and pepper, bring to the table very hot.

(1) Dried green peas: unlike yellow peas, they are a little stronger in flavor.
