For Grandma’s Fruitcake, beat butter, sugar and vanilla sugar with mixer or food processor until fluffy.
Stir in eggs one at a time. Mix flour and baking powder and stir in as well.
Add milk. The dough should be a little tough. Pour batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spread. Top with the fruit.
Bake at 180 degrees for about 45 minutes. When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve Grandma’s fruitcake.
