For the Toffifee Buttermilk Muffins, place the paper cups inside the muffin pan. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, almonds and baking powder. In another bowl, whisk the egg and add the sugar, oil, sour cream, buttermilk and the briefly warmed nut nougat cream.
Now mix the ingredients of both bowls and stir until everything is blended. Then fill half of the ramekins with batter, place a Toffifee on each and pour the remaining batter over the ramekins. Finally, bake the Toffifee buttermilk muffins for about 20 minutes at 180°C degrees.
