For the shortbread, preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Line a baking tray with baking paper, cut open the vanilla bean and scrape out the pulp.
Put the butter, sugar and salt on the work surface and mix well with your hands. Add vanilla pulp and the flour and mix until smooth.
Then fill the dough into a piping bag with a star nozzle and pipe the dough in the desired shape onto the baking paper. Now place the baking sheet in the oven and bake at 170 degrees for about 17 minutes until golden brown.
