Have you tried this delicious recipe with red wine?

Layer the berries in an earthenware saucepan, pour the red wine over them and leave to infuse for one night in a cool place with the lid closed.

The following day, squeeze the berries and collect the juice as described in the recipe for raspberry syrup.

Repeatedly leave the juice to cool for 1-2 days.

Further processing of the juice as for normal raspberry syrup.
