For the pumpkin pie, peel, core and finely grate the pumpkin. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Beat butter with sugar until soft, gradually add the eggs, then add yogurt and pumpkin.

Stir everything together to a mass and fold in the flour with baking powder and salt. Grease and flour the pan and carefully pour in the batter.

Bake the cake for about 40 minutes in the oven at about 180 degrees. When it is ready, turn it out while it is still hot and immediately brush it with the juice of the orange. This makes the pumpkin cake even juicier.
