A great pasta dish for any occasion:

Mix cooked dumpling mixture into water (1) and allow to swell for 10 minutes. Form Schupfnudeln (small pointed “cigars”) from the mixture with wet hands.

Boil water (2) with salt. Make noodles in it until they come to the surface. Transfer to a colander, cool and drain.

Heat clarified butter in a frying pan and roast the Schupfnudeln in it until golden.
