For the marzipan stars, crumble flour with butter and knead with the remaining ingredients to form a shortcrust pastry. Let rest in the refrigerator for about 1 hour, wrapped in plastic wrap.

Roll out the dough on a floured work surface and cut out star-shaped cookies. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 12 minutes.

Now make stars of the same size out of marzipan. Marzipan has a very sticky texture, so knead it well powdered sugar and roll it out on a surface sprinkled with some powdered sugar. This will make it much easier for them to cut out the stars.

Stick two shortbread stars together with jam at a time. Put some jam on the star and put a marzipan star on top.

Let dry a bit and then dip half of the marzipan stars in the soft chocolate icing.
