For the Lemon Basil Spaghetti, bring water to a boil in a large pot, add salt and cook the spaghetti as indicated on the package.

In the meantime, squeeze the untreated lemon, cut the zest into small pieces and roughly chop the basil. Melt the butter in a pan and heat until lightly browned.

Add the lemon zest and sauté briefly. Then add the garlic and basil – do not fry too long as the garlic can darken quickly.

Remove the pan from the heat and add lemon juice and salt (to taste). Arrange the spaghetti on plates and pour the lemon basil butter over it.
