When buying apples, make sure that the peel is flawless. Whether you choose sweet or tart apples depends on your taste.

Rinse apples, dry them and cut them in half. Cut out the core. Place halves in an ovenproof dish with the curves facing down. Spread powdered sugar, washed raisins and Calvados evenly on top.

Put the rest of the butter in flakes on top. Place under the heated broiler. Grilling time: 15 min.
