Try this delicious cake recipe:

They are called cat’s tongues because they are so dainty and round shaped, others call them sponge cakes! They taste great plain, dusted with powdered sugar, with coffee, with sundaes or with creamy desserts.

Beat yolks with sugar (1) in a hot water bath until thick. It takes about 3 to 4 minutes until the cream is white and thick. Whip the egg whites to stiff peaks and add the sugar (2). Mix yolks, flour and one third of the egg whites. Then fold in the rest of the beaten egg whites. Fill the mixture into a piping bag with a large nozzle.

Pipe the cat tongues onto the buttered baking tray and bake at 180 °C for 15 to 20 minutes.

Dust the cookies with powdered sugar.
