For the scalloped whole wheat pasta with tomatoes, bring water to a boil and add salt. Cook the pasta in it until al dente.

Dissolve tomato paste in a little water and stir in oregano. Preheat oven to 200°C.

Grease the baking dish and spread the pasta, tomato paste and defrosted peas in it. Grate Emmental, dice tomato and sprinkle over the casserole.

Bake in the oven until a golden brown crust has formed. Serve the baked wholemeal pasta with tomato.
