Select the blackberries, rinse carefully, drain. Cut the pears into small pieces. Mix the fruit mass with jelling sugar, juice of one lemon and the thyme sprigs well and infuse for 3-4 hours with the lid closed. Let it bubble up while stirring for 4 minutes. Remove the thyme sprigs. Fill the jam hot into jars and close on the spot with twist-off lids.
