For the apple chips, wash the apples, core them with the core corer and then cut them into slices about 1.5 mm thick with a slicer.

Place the thin apple slices in a dehydrator and dry. Turn over once in between. Dry until the apple chips are nice and crispy.

This takes about 2-3 hours, depending on the dehydrator.
