Instructions:

Mix sugar, eggs, vanilla essence, butter and cinnamon in a food processor. Add the juice of one lemon, whipped cream and cow’s milk.

Cut the bread slices into squares about three centimeters long.

Grease a gratin dish. Spread a third of the bread on the dish, put half of the dates and nuts on it and pour half of the cream on top. Cover with another layer of dates, bread, nuts and cream.

Spread the remaining bread on top and let it stand for 30 minutes with the lid closed.

Bake in a heated oven at 180 degrees.

Instead of lemon you can use ditto orange peel. If you like, you can use ditto less cinnamon.

> To do this, heat butter with brown sugar, ground rum and cinnamon until butter is melted and all ingredients are properly mixed. Place warm on the table.

Tip: Cinnamon gives dishes a wonderful sweet and spicy note!
