Roast sausages in hot lard for about 4 minutes. Remove and cut in half lengthwise. For the filling, rinse and clean tomatoes, cut in half, remove seeds and cut into cubes. Cut spring onion into rings. Sauté briefly in hot frying fat. Add tomatoes and heat.
Cut rolls in half and spread with sanf. Place sausages on the bottom half of the roll. Spread filling evenly on top. Top with ham and cheese. Place the top half of the bun on top. Bake in hot oven at 200 °C for approx. 5 min. Cut around the corner and garnish.
Tip from Armin Rossmeier (TV chef at Sat.1)
Cheese – good for the body. More calcium than milk. Since cheese is made from milk, it also contains all the important ingredients of milk. Above all, easily digestible egg white, vitamin A and calcium – nutrients that kids in particular need. In fact, most cheeses contain more of these than milk.
By the way, the children’s sandwich is ideal for the next party, and not only for children. The corresponding mass is easy to prepare and just grill over it.

Our tip: As an alternative to fresh herbs, you can also use frozen ones – they are also characterized by a fresh taste!
