Instructions:

For the bread dumplings, finely chop the onion and fry in the butter.

Mix in the parsley and the bread cubes. Stir constantly, as the bread cubes burn easily. In a bowl, mix the eggs with the water and add salt.

Stir the bread cubes well with the egg-water mixture and let them swell for about 10min. Then fold in the 2 tablespoons of flour and form dumplings from the mixture.

Bring water to a boil in a large pot, salt lightly and let the dumplings simmer for about 20 minutes.
