For the fillet steak with mash, peel potatoes and cook in salted water. Wash fillet of beef, dab dry, brush with oil and fry in a pan.

Drain potatoes, mash finely, stirring in linseed oil, salt pepper and lean curd. Finely chop the basil and fold into the puree. Serve the fillet steak with puree.
