A simple but delicious cake recipe:
Lightly stir butter and sugar (the amount should not become creamy). Add the remaining ingredients except jam and powdered sugar.
Fill half of the dough mixture into a greased cake springform pan, 26 cm ø, and spread the jam on top. Use a piping bag to pipe the remaining batter in a circle and smooth it out.
Bake the Linzer Torte in the oven heated to 180 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. When cool, dust with powdered sugar. Linzer Torte can be kept wrapped in aluminum foil for about three weeks.
