1. rinse peppers, halve, remove seeds and cut roughly into cubes. Peel garlic. Break rusk into small pieces.
2. crush walnuts, rusks, garlic and peppers in a hand mixer. Add the oil by the spoonful, then the ajvar, cumin and salt, and blend until smooth.
Season the paste with cumin, lime juice and salt and chill until ready to serve.
