Beat the eggs with the sugar until white and fluffy, then add the softened butter, sift the flour, add the cinnamon and salt and fold into the butter-eggs mixture with the milk.
Grease and heat the pan, pour in the batter and smooth it down, close the pan and bake the waffles for 2-3 minutes. Cool the finished waffles on a rack.
