For the woodruff cake, first prepare the dough: Finely crumble the butter cookies and knead them with the soft butter. Press the mixture onto the bottom of a springform pan. Rinse the strawberries, cut them in half and place them on the dough.
For the filling, dissolve the Jell-O powder in 125 ml water. Whip the cream until stiff. Mix the cream cheese and the finely chopped woodruff leaves with the syrup and add to the dissolved jelly powder. Spread the mixture evenly on the strawberry base and let it set in the refrigerator.
For the glaze, dissolve the sugar and jello powder in the liquid and heat slightly. Stir in woodruff syrup and spread the mixture over the cake. Let it set again in the refrigerator.
Then loosen the edge of the cake and pipe top dabs onto the woodruff cake using a piping bag.
