Instructions:

Whip the egg whites until stiff and gradually add the powdered sugar. Add salt and juice of one lemon as well, whip until the mixture has a matte sheen and forms peaks. Gently fold in ground walnuts and spices. Scoop out small heaps of the dough and place either on wafers or directly on a baking sheet. Bake at 160 °C for about 20 minutes. Now decorate with the melted cooking chocolate and the walnut quarters. If you prefer a softer nutty flavor, you can replace half of the ground walnuts with hazelnuts.
