Sauté the turkey legs in the hot oil on both sides until cooked. Season with salt and pepper to taste and then place in a lightly greased shallow baking dish. Briefly sauté the apple slices. Form the pear halves or apple slices over the turkey. Mash the blue cheese with a fork, mix with the soft butter, the whisky or brandy and the nuts. Whip the cream until stiff and fold in. Spread the cheese cream evenly over the pear halves or apple slices. Bake the dish briefly in the heated oven until the cheese cream bubbles slightly.
