Instructions:

Soak bread (rind removed if necessary, will be lighter) in water. Squeeze the water out of the bread.

Finely chop onion and squeeze lemon.

Open cod roe and fill the inside full in a food processor.

Add bread, onion and juice of one lemon to roe form. Stir (leave) everything until a creamy mixture is formed. While stirring, drip in the olive oil.

Set aside to cool before serving.

Garnish with chopped parsley and olives.

Offer fresh pita bread for dipping and/or raw vegetables.

If prepared in advance, remove from refrigerator 20 min before serving.

Marko: Yes, in detail: small eggs in an ‘egg bag’.

Marko: You buy the whole smoked ‘egg bag’ (or parts of it) with the little eggs inside. If the ‘egg bag’ is closed (in this case you did not share it), you have to open it and peel out the many small eggs, e.g. with a spoon. You can then dispose of the emptied egg bag.
