Instructions:

Wash, stem and pit the cherries.

Beat honey and eggs until foamy. Add butter and amaretto. Sift flour with baking powder and stir into the honey mixture.

Pour the mixture into a cake tin (approx. 26 cm in diameter) and spread the cherries on top.

Bake the cake at 180 °C for about 40 minutes.
