Hard boil the eggs. Rinse, peel and cut in half lengthwise. Remove yolks, mash with a fork and cream with butter.

Stir in tomato paste, sugar, salt and pepper. Pour into a piping bag and stuff into egg halves.

Serve the deviled eggs.
