For the bread boil, whisk the milk with the eggs, sugar and a pinch of salt and pour over the flaky pastry.
As soon as they are sufficiently soaked, place them together with the raisins in a buttered baking dish.
Bake in a well preheated oven at 180 °C for about 35 minutes.
Lift out, portion and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Serve with plum roast.
