Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat. Cut the roll lengthwise and crosswise into strips approx. 3 cm wide (Attention: Do not cut through the bottom and the outer sides!). Now cut the cheeses into strips about 1/2 cm thick and place them in the bread cut lengthwise and crosswise.
Cut the garlic into slices. Mix the bacon cubes with the garlic, onion and Italian herbs, then work them into the slits in the bun, spreading them out nicely. Cover the whole roll with aluminum foil. Now put the Scheibi cheese special in the oven (middle rack) and bake for about 15 minutes. Check in more often, depends on the bread!
Now take out, put cheese on top to bake, chop fresh parsley and put on top. Place in the oven again for about 5 minutes and bake at 200 °C until the cheese is melted over and then remove immediately.
Put Scheibi’s cheese bread special on a nice cutting board or serving plate, add 2-4 forks and serve. Of course you can add other ingredients yourself, e.g. minced meat.
