For the rice meat granny style cut the onion and sauté, add diced pork shoulder and fry well.
Deglaze with water (not too much! While simmering there is still enough liquid).
Stir in paprika powder, add marjoram and bay leaves.
Cook rice according to package directions.
Simmer until meat is tender (about 30-45 minutes).
Season with salt and pepper, add some tomato paste if necessary.
