Mix flour and butter, knead with moistened hands until you get a smooth, moist dough that can be rolled out.

For the filling, mix sugar with water and heat. Wet your fingers with cold water. Squeeze a drop of sugar water between two fingers and pull apart: If the sugar water has the right consistency, a coarse thread will form.

Remove the sugar water from the kitchen stove, add almond kernels and creamy beaten yolks. Roll out the dough and cut out 10 cm circles with a glass. Form 1 tsp of filling in the center of each circle and fold them together to form a half moon. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar.

Preheat the stove to 180, fill the pies and bake until they begin to turn golden brown. Remove, cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
