For the Hungarian cherry strudel, wash and remove the stems from the cherries. Melt butter.

Roll up strudel dough on a moistened cloth and drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle nuts, put half amount of cherries. Sprinkle sugar to taste.

Finally, sprinkle cinnamon and vanilla sugar on top. Whisk sour cream (1/2 cup) and spread over cherries. Roll up strudel and place seam side down on a greased baking sheet.

Bake the Hungarian cherry strudel at 180°C for about 30 minutes. Proceed in the same way with the 2nd strudel dough.
