A simple but delicious cake recipe:

Beat the egg yolks, butter, sugar and salt until creamy. Gently mix in the ground almonds, sifted flour and baking powder. Cut the chocolate into small pieces and add them as well. Whip the egg whites until stiff and mix gently. Pour into a buttered cake form (quiche form). If desired, lightly cover with sliced almond kernels on top and bake for about an hour at 175 degrees.
