Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Heat the oil in a saucepan. Sauté the onion and garlic in it. Add the lentils. Pour in the vegetable soup and the crème fraîche, and cook the lentils for about half an hour at low temperature with the lid closed. Stir occasionally. Season the lentils with salt and pepper and stir in the kitchen herbs.

It goes well with whole-grain pasta, or simply bread.

Our tip: It is best to use fresh herbs for a particularly good aroma!
