For the country bread with smoked mackerel, toast the bread slices and spread with butter. Wash and drain lettuce leaves and tomatoes.

Slice the tomatoes and cut the mackerel fillets into small pieces. Cover the bread with lettuce, arrange tomato slices and fish fillets on top.

Mix yogurt with horseradish, salt and sugar, pour over tomatoes and sprinkle with cress.
