For the chocolate nut cake, cream butter with sugar until fluffy. Stir in the yolks one by one. Add milk, flour, nuts, vanilla sugar and baking powder.

Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in carefully. Pour into a cake pan and bake.

After cooling, cut through and fill with jam.
