Wash chicken breast, pat dry and cut into strips. Beat egg with salt and pepper.
Dredge the chicken strips in flour, then in egg and finally in breadcrumbs, pressing the breadcrumbs firmly.
Heat oil and deep-fry chicken nuggets in it for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
For the butter peas, blanch the peas briefly in water. Heat butter in a saucepan and toss the peas in hot butter.
Season with salt and pepper and serve the chicken nuggets with butter peas.
