Chicken in Massala Sauce

Instructions:

Heat oil and brown chicken pieces on all sides. Remove from saucepan and saute onion, garlic, Spanish pepper and salt for about 3 min until translucent. Add massala and saute just as briefly. Add the chicken pieces repeatedly to the saucepan and mix well. Add water and cook for about half an hour. Add more water if necessary.

Serve with long grain rice (or roti) and vegetables (garters are very good with this!).
