For the chard and bacon dumplings, first finely chop the onion and garlic, cut the chard leaves into fine strips (without stems!). Fry the onion in the butter, stir in the parsley and the bread cubes. Mix well in a bowl with the eggs and a little water, add salt and then leave to soak for about 10 minutes.

In the meantime, fry the bacon a little with the garlic, stir in the chard leaves until they collapse a little. Then add the mixture to the bread cubes and stir well. Add the flour and mix well again.

Then form chard-bacon dumplings and let them steep in lightly simmering water for about 15 minutes.
