Instructions:

For the cake for baptism first prepare the dough. For the dough, whisk well eggs, baking powder, sugar and butter. Sift in the flour and stir in.

Pour the batter into a springform pan (20 cm), in which you have previously clamped baking paper, and spread well. Bake for about 30 minutes at 190 °C in a preheated oven. Allow to cool well.

Then carefully remove the cake base from the springform pan. Roll out white fondant and place over the cake base.

Smooth out the folds with the back of your hand and cut off any excess fondant with a sharp knife.

Then look for a template on the Internet. This can be a stork, but also a body, or something else two-dimensional representable.

The template is transferred to a cardboard box. Now roll out the colored fondant and cut out the motif using the template.

Place the motif on the cake and possibly trace details with sugar writing.
