Instructions:

For the Beiried dried plum skewers, rinse the Beiried in cold water and pat dry. Cut into approx. 3 x 3 cm cubes. Remove the seeds from the dried plums if necessary. Peel the onions and cut into wedges.

For the marinade, pluck the rosemary needles from the stems and chop finely. Mix with olive oil, red wine, orange juice, salt and coarsely ground pepper in a large bowl to make a marinade. Allow the meat cubes to marinade for at least 30 minutes.

Thread the meat cubes, dried plums and onion wedges alternately onto the skewers. Grill the Beiried-Dörrzwetschken skewers on the grill grate from all sides (approx. 5 minutes). The meat should still be tender pink on the inside.
