Poultry – Meat Skewers with Peanut Sauce

For garnish:


Place wooden skewers in cold water so they can absorb water and not burn during grilling. Rinse the chicken breast fillet, dry it, cut it into bite-sized pieces and put them on the watered wooden skewers.

Stir 3 tbsp. soy sauce with 1 tsp. sambal ölek and marinate the skewers in it for half an hour.

Remove the skin from the onion and chop. Finely grind the peanuts in a chopper. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Sauté onion, nut flour and crushed garlic in it. Add sugar, coconut milk, juice of one lemon, salt, remaining soy sauce (2 tbsp) and leftover sambal ölek (1 tsp).

Cook sauce, then let cool. Turn on the oven grill. Place skewers on grill rack covered with aluminum foil, grill on middle rack of grill for 4 min. each side. Serve with peanut sauce and lime wedges.
