For the apple strudel jam, mix apples with apple juice or white wine, preserving sugar, lemon and spices (possibly marinate the day before and cover overnight) and pour into a wide saucepan.Bring to the boil while stirring and simmer for 4-5 minutes and make the jelly test.
Stir in the nuts, raisins and rum or apple brandy and pour the apple strudel jam into prepared hot glasses.With the help of an eyedropper, drizzle a few drops of alcohol over, light and seal immediately.
