Peel and core the apples and cut them into small pieces. Put the apple pieces in a saucepan and fill with water so that the apple pieces are not completely covered with water.

Boil together with cinnamon and cloves for about 15 minutes. Cinnamon and cloves can be dosed according to taste.

Before eating, remove the cinnamon sticks and cloves from the stewed apple.
