For the Halloween stew, peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Peel the sweet potato, pumpkin, carrots and potato as well. Slice the carrots (for the witch’s eyes), dice the rest.

In a pot with hot oil, fry the onion, add the rest of the vegetables and let them fry for 5 minutes. Pour in vegetable soup and coconut couscous and continue to simmer for a few minutes with the lid on low heat.

In the meantime, cook the croissants according to package instructions. Season the stew with salt and pepper and serve with the croissants (maggots).
