Mix 1 tablespoon of flour, 3-4 tablespoons of milk and 1 teaspoon of sugar to make a dampfl and let it rise, covered, to double its height.
Cream butter with yolks, egg, powdered sugar, salt and aromatics, add flour, dampfl and remaining milk and beat the dough until it is smooth and supple.
Incorporate raisins, cover with a damp cloth and let rise again.
Then work the dough into a smooth ball, place on a greased baking sheet and let rise again, covered.
Once the dough ball has visibly increased in volume one more time, brush with yolk, make three deep cuts and set aside for another 15 minutes to rise.
Bake in the preheated oven at 170 °C for about 30 minutes.
