Peel potatoes and cut into small pieces. Clean the carrots and cut them into small pieces as well. Peel and finely chop the onion and sauté in the oil until translucent. Add potatoes and carrots and sauté briefly. Pour in soup and simmer until vegetables are soft.
Add peas and cook for another 5 minutes. Add whipped cream and puree the soup. Season to taste with salt, pepper and herbs of your choice.
Heat again briefly and serve.
